The SMU Cox MBA team took first place at the Fall 2022 National Energy Finance Challenge for the third time in a row on Oct. 28th. The University of Texas McCombs School of Business hosts the case competition annually. Cox FTMBA students went head to head with formidable business school competitors from around the nation. SMU Cox emerged victorious from the final round against Chicago Booth, Cornell Johnson and Rice Jones. Team “Lean Green LP” came away with a winning check of $10 thousand.

The Cox School’s first-place team members consisted of second-year MBA student Philip Bowie and first-year MBA students Graham Doll, Jace Eakin, Emilee Lancaster and Cameron LeJeune.
